I like how cleverly the service simplifies the trip planning process. Nevertheless, it seems to me that people might not fully notice all of its advantages. So, I’ve described a few ideas that might help the service.
One of the most important principles of any interface is its visual hierarchy. This principle suggests that there should be no equally important elements at the top of the hierarchy. A clear hierarchy guides users through interfaces and significantly reduces the perceived complexity of even the most complex ones.
The main page doesn’t quite follow this principle: the header and the grid of cards appear almost equally important. This creates a sense of unfocus, doubt, uncertainty, and frustration among users.
It’s easily fixable through adjustments in color usage.
Priorities of the updated page:
Every travel service has a search function. That’s why I think “Search” isn’t quite the right word here. Instead of the generic “Search,” you could use something like “Plan with AI”, which immediately highlights that TRYP.com is different.
Also, I really like the text “Train, bus, flight and stays combined with AI,” but I suspect not many people read it. This could be because there’s too much text combined with the title, the contrast isn’t very strong, and other elements on the screen attract more attention. It might be worth removing this line.
While this selection makes a lot of sense when the system knows users’ preferences, it might even worsen the experience for new users. My suggestion is to show “For You” only to registered users. Advantages of this solution:
